Welcoming 2015

As much as I love the holiday season, I have to say I am really excited to have turned the corner and be in full gear for the new year. I have been really busy working on the 2015/2016 catalog and I finally got it off to the printers yesterday. Yeah!! I am really excited about some new design inspirations I have been working on. I am also very grateful to have had so much interest in wholesale orders from some amazing retailers. That is really an avenue that I want to pursue and it feels great to be taking the business in that direction. I also have my new website up and running. I made a big mistake and neglected to renew my old domain which meant I lost my website and everything that went along with it. It has been a lot of work to start over but lesson learned, and in all honesty I think the new website is better than ever. You can check it out here.  Along with more orders comes the need to be more efficient and organized. I have been doing some major cleaning out and organizing in my studio. I spent the past several days pairing down and clearing out. Now there is a place for everything and everything's in it's place. The best and easiest thing I did was to add a riser to my work table. I kept searching for something that would fit just right between my shelf units and also get some of the things off my work table to give me more room. After searching Ikea, Target, and Wal-Mart, I thought, why don't I just add a shelf? Duh! So for $16 my problem was solved. I know it sounds really silly but the difference is HUGE. I know these photos aren't very exciting but I always like to see before, during, and afters so thought I would share them.

Oh well, you get the idea... My next job is Luke's room and then the basement storage and garage. I promise my husband every year that he will be able to park in the garage and it hasn't happened yet. This will be the year!! "promise honey"
I hope you all are inspired and motivated to make every day count this year, whatever that means to you.
Thanks for stopping by,
